Nathaniel "Nate" is one of the deceitful boarders at Green Gables in season 2.
Personality[]
Nate has a personality of a fraud, which of course makes sense, because he is a fraud. He lied about there being "gold" in Avonlea. He also could be lying about having any job. And of course, Nathaniel is the most villany character in Anne (TV series). Also flirting with Marilla Cuthbert.
Exposed[]
He is exposed by Anne Shirley Cuthbert and Diana Barry with the help of Malcom Frost. After a while, The Cuthberts: Matthew Cuthbert and Marilla Cuthbert. Also, Jerry Baynard remembered that it was Nathaniel and Mr. Dunlop who beat him up and stole his money, meaning that Jerry exposed Nate as a thug.

He calls Anne a "pain in the ass" and lies about saying there is gold in Avonlea.

The Cuthberts finally find out that he is a bad man, and so is Mr. Dunlop. So they get rid of Nate and Mr. Dunlop. He escapes Avonlea, along with $1700.
